I take this opportunity to write with inspiration in our first magazine “Inspiration” that the child should have an all around development in a school. In the present scenario utmost importance is given to Academic Education only, which I feel, is useful to earn one’s own bread and to sustain our livelihood. Actually during the process of development of our child we should put more emphasis on Social Education too, as this is one of the most important qualities for making a good and responsible citizen. It is the two sides of the same coin. We the teachers and the parents have got equal role to play together to achieve these qualities in our children.
At home, as parents are the first teachers of every new born child, they need to teach them good manners such as how to talk, behave with their own parents, friends, elderly persons and so on. We should not pressurize them for this; instead try to set an example before them. Our efforts should be in making them a good human being first apart from other qualities, since this quality which will remain with them throughout their life and ultimately will pass on to the forthcoming generation.
Every child is an inborn diamond. Our duty is just to polish and guide them with a proper path during their development process to get the real value and brightness. This is exactly what we are desperately trying to do in our school. Cooperation from parents is the need of the hour and highly appreciated. I wish great success to Goa Education Society Of Fatorpa in achieving their goals.
